Mix it with water (6 cups of ACV to 4 cups of water), and spray it on your pet’s coat. Make sure you cover their eye area while using this simple and natural solution.

4. Pet Collars
While the above are natural ways to treat the tick problem, a pet collar is one of the more common ways to deal with it. Typically, pet collars can provide up to 8 months of protection from fleas, ticks, and larvae. These collars are easily available in all pet stores.

5. Ointments and creams
Topical medical treatments are another common method used to treat ticks and fleas in pets. There is a range of products available in the market; so you must decide on an ointment considering your pet’s breed, age, and size. Most topical creams or treatments take care of lice, ticks, mites, and fleas. Make sure to consult a vet before making a purchase.
