4. Dull Coat and Itchy Skin

The skin where the itching occurs becomes red, inflamed and dry plus if there is an allergy then the dogs do not get relief even from bathing or over-the-counter medicines.

5. Bronzing Around the Lips
Yet another addition on the list of symptoms of food allergies in dogs is the inflammation around the dogs’ lips. The skin around the lips becomes a shade of pink and that is not normal. This can be a sign of yeast colonization and it is triggered by some sort of food allergy.
